Who We Are

The Israel Prayer Tower is a centre for 24/7 intercessory prayer, worship and prophetic training situated on the 20th floor of City Tower in the heart of Jerusalem. Part of the global Jesus Calls Ministries, founded by Dr Paul Dhinakaran, the Prayer Tower fulfils the divine vision of the late Dr D.G.S. Dhinakaran to establish a house of prayer in the Holy City.

Since its inauguration on 4 November 2013, the Prayer Tower has welcomed intercessors and volunteers from more than 20 countries, all united by a common purpose: to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for Israel, and for the nations of the world.

From our vantage point overlooking the Mount of Olives, the Old City and the Temple Mount, we maintain a continuous cycle of worship and intercession, believing that as the Church prays over Jerusalem, God releases His purposes for the nations.

Our Foundation

Our Mission

To maintain a centre of continuous intercessory prayer in Jerusalem, praying for the peace of Jerusalem, the nation of Israel, and the nations of the world. We welcome believers from every nation to join us in worship, intercession and prophetic training.

Our Vision

To see the fulfilment of Isaiah 62:6 — watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem who never fall silent day or night — and to be a beacon of prayer that inspires the global Church to stand in the gap for Israel and the nations.

Biblical Foundation

Our ministry is grounded in the authority of the Holy Scriptures. We stand on Psalm 122:6 ("Pray for the peace of Jerusalem"), Isaiah 62:6-7, and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Every prayer watch, teaching, and act of service flows from our devotion to God's Word.

Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God — the supreme standard for all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

The Holy Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and of one divine essence.

The Deity of Christ

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious ascension to the right hand of the Father.

Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God received by faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works — and that it results in regeneration, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells, empowers, and equips believers for godly living, witness, and service in the body of Christ.

The Church

We believe in the universal Church — the body of Christ — comprised of all born-again believers, called to worship God, make disciples, and demonstrate His kingdom in the world.

Prayer

We believe prayer is the vital breath of the Christian life — a direct line of communication with God that produces transformation, healing, and breakthroughs in every area of life.

Divine Healing

We believe in divine healing as provided through the atonement of Christ. God heals the sick today in answer to the prayer of faith, demonstrating His compassion and power.

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal, bodily, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom.

Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of the dead — those who have received Christ will enjoy eternal life in His presence, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
